This course trains key response personnel from local jurisdictions to prevent, mitigate, manage and/or resolve weapons of mass destruction (CBRNE)/terrorism incidents. Individuals participate as members of multi-disciplinary teams to conduct comprehensive risk, capabilities and needs assessments.
This course consists of lectures, small group discussions, participant activities and multimedia scenarios as well as conducting actual vulnerability assessments for facilities, sites and infrastructure selected by the host jurisdiction.
Prerequisites: AWR-160 WMD Awareness for Emergency Responders
Class size is limited to the first 40 qualified applicants
